These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of byteframe.co.ke (the “Site”), operated by ByteFrame (“ByteFrame”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a software studio based in Nairobi, Kenya. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that breaks applicable laws or regulations;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site’s operation, security, or availability;

2. Our Services

ByteFrame designs and builds websites, web applications, and e-commerce solutions. Information on the Site about our services is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute a binding offer. Any project we take on is governed by a separate written agreement, proposal, or quote agreed directly with you, which will set out the specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees.

3. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, all content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, the “ByteFrame” name, layout, and code, is owned by or licensed to ByteFrame and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.

Ownership of work we produce under a client engagement is handled in the relevant project agreement, not by these Terms.

4. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services (for example, WhatsApp or our social media pages). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

5. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we work to keep the Site accurate and available, we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ByteFrame will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes relating to the Site or these Terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
